Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share for packing machine products in Sri Lanka. 2. Identify and recruit dealers, distributors, and channel partners across the region, ensuring comprehensive market coverage and effective distribution management. 3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors, providing necessary support, training, and resources to drive sales and promote brand loyalty. 4. Conduct regular visits to dealer locations and distribution centers to assess performance, address concerns, and facilitate timely payment collection. 5. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate invoicing, credit approvals, and payment collection processes, minimizing overdue accounts and mitigating credit risks. 6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing insights and recommendations to management to optimize sales strategies and product offerings. 7. Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to management, highlighting key performance indicators, sales trends, and payment collection metrics. 8. Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, contracts, and pricing terms with dealers and distributors, ensuring profitability and adherence to payment terms. 9. Provide training, support, and guidance to dealer and distributor sales teams to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and payment collection processes. 10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote packing machine products, build brand awareness, and generate new business opportunities.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. 2. Proven track record of 2-5 years in sales, with experience in dealer management, distribution channels, and timely payment collection, preferably in the packing machine sector. 3. Strong understanding of packing machine technology, applications, and market dynamics.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. 5. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets, maximizing revenue, and ensuring timely payment collection.
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-
paced environment.
7. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software. 8. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories. |
